Position: Sales Negotiator

Job Overview: As a Senior Sales Negotiator at Halliday Homes, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process, acting as the key intermediary between vendors, buyers and most importantly your sales team. You will be responsible for managing property listings, negotiating sales, and ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process. Your goal will be to achieve maximum property sales at the best possible prices while delivering exceptional customer service, all with our vendors best interests in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Listings: Obtain and manage property listings, ensuring accurate and attractive property descriptions, professional photographs, and engaging marketing materials.
  • Property Enquiries: Make initial contact with all enquiries, gather information and provide necessary information where requested.
  • Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Viewings: Arrange and conduct property viewings, showcasing properties to potential buyers in the best possible light.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate offers between sellers and buyers, striving to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties involved.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the local property market, including trends, prices, and competition, to provide clients with informed advice.
  • Sales Progression: Coordinate and manage the sales process from offer acceptance to completion, liaising with solicitors, surveyors, and other relevant parties to ensure a smooth transaction.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Taking incoming calls and make outgoing calls to viewers, vendors and third party contacts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the sales team, sharing insights and strategies to achieve common goals.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in estate agency sales or a similar role is required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven sales ability, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Market Knowledge: Good understanding of the local property market and industry regulations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using property management software and other relevant technology.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is often required for property viewings and client meetings.
